We take a page from the ostrich, an amazing bird who followed a “non-traditional” path: rather than continuing to fly, a capability often viewed as more advanced, it repurposed limited resources toward ground survival, such as speed, vigilance, and resilience.

Many academic lab websites present impressive research outcomes, but I often find myself wanting to learn more about the cool ideas behind them. The goal of this website is not simply to list what we have done, but to share what we find interesting and why we believe it matters. If you have read this far, I hope these project intros (R1, R2) will also spark your interest.
